Claims Assistance Process

Step 1: Schedule an Inspection 

Contact us to schedule an inspection with one of your team members.

Step 2: Insepct the Roof

A Storm Master Inspection/Claims specialist will inspect your roof and inform you of whether or not the damage qualifies you to contact your insurance for assistance.  If the damage does require assistance from your insurance provider, we will guide you through the entire claims process.

If necessary, while you are waiting on the claim to get approved, we can provide emergency tarping, sealant, or any other material needed to protect your home from any further damage.

In the even that your home doesn't meet the criteria for filing a claim, but your roof still needs to be repaired or a replaced, we can provide a free estimate of what it would cost to repair or replace your roof.

Step 3: File a Claim

Once the inspection is complete and we have identified sufficient storm damage to file a claim, your Storm Master specialist will then guide you through the process of filing an insurance claim, which typically takes 10-15 minutes. To help get your claim approved, we highly recommended that you talk to one of our insurance claim specialists before you call your insurance. We can never guarantee it will be approved, but we can provide tips to help you get it approved. 

Step 4: Meet the Adjuster

After the claim is filed, your insurance adjuster will contact you with a date and time to inspect your roof.  Once you inform us of the date and time of your adjuster meeting, your Storm Master insurance claim specialist will meet your adjustor at your home during the adjuster's inspection to assist in the claims process. 

Step 5: Insurance Approval

Once approved, the insurance adjuster will provide you with an insurance summary report detailing the scope of the work needed to repair or replace your roof, the cost to repair or replace your roof, and the amount of money the insurance will pay to help repair or replace your roof.  As an assistant, your Storm Master claim assistant will be available to address any questions you might have about the approval, such as a question related to the insurance summary report.

Step 6: Install New Roof

After your insurance claim has been approved and your questions have been answered, you are now ready to move forward in getting a new roof or your roof repaired. Your claim assistant specialist from Storm Master will inform you about the roofing products available to you, the installation process, and scheduling.
